Tutoring Services
I have been tutoring peers since high school and throughout college both through honors societies and as a private tutor. During my gap year following my undergraduate studies, I was a private tutor for high school students in the South Bend area in Languages, Math, Science, Social Sciences, and Standardized Test Preparation. At the high school level, I have experience with AP/IB Calculus, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Literature. On the collegiate level, I offer sessions for any mathematics courses up to Ordinary Differential Equations/Linear Algebra, Chemistry courses (excluding Organic I and II), Biology (e.g., Microbiology, Biochemistry), Physics (e.g., Classical Mechanics, Astrophysics, Astronomy), and computer programming (numerical analyses with Python, MATLAB, Excel VBA).
I am dedicated to lifelong learning, and I believe that education is invaluable in becoming a well-rounded scholar and person. My philosophy focuses on increased repetition of weak areas for students as well as in-depth explanation and analyses working side-by-side through intentionally difficult problems. I endorse external preparation before every session so that the student can practice skills, tips, and strategies while away from the one-on-one tutoring environment.
